What Business Opportunities…
- Parker Industrial Center – Recently completed, this 41,325 square foot project includes three light manufacturing buildings available for lease.
- KMS Industrial Park – Several light industrial buildings are available for immediate lease up to 74,000 square feet.

- Downtown and historic Old Town Galt – Property and business owners are getting help with building improvements with the city’s new Façade Improvement Program, which offers matching grant funds for eligible improvements.
- Marengo Ranch Shopping Center – A proposed 131,000 square foot shopping center, with an eleven screen theater, will offer more retail business opportunities. Expected groundbreaking: Spring 2009.
- Senior Mixed Use – A three-story, 90-unit affordable senior housing project will offer first floor retail in the heart of Old Town Galt. Expected groundbreaking: Spring 2009.
- Carillion Corner Retail Center – Includes national chain stores as anchor tenants. Currently under construction. Expected completion date: Spring 2009
Housing developments…
- Housing projects currently under construction throughout the city offer a variety of sizes and price ranges: River Oaks by Elliott Homes, Summerset by Warmington Homes, Chancellor Estates by Hoffman Homes, and Creekside 2 by 4 G’s Development.
City improvements…
- Central Galt Interchange – By 2011, a $50 million interchange project will be completed, creating two four-lane overpasses along State Highway 99, and Galt’s Central Business District.
- Infrastructure Upgrades – A $25 million investment will create a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant. Additional improvements to water wells, reservoirs, and treatment facilities will serve Galt’s growing population and commercial developments.
- Recreation – The City is renowned for its first-class parks and recreation programs and the Galt Market, the state’s only municipally-owned and operated flea market. Solidifying its reputation for exceptional parks, the city recently completed construction on two new parks – Monterey and Roundstone. A large community park is expected to be under construction in Spring 2009.
